North Ingria (1919-1920)

Located at the Russo-Finnish borderlands, this tiny self-proclaimed republic with the total population of 400 existed from 1919 to 1920, taking full advantage of the complete chaos and civil war caused by the Russian Revolution. It had a single post office in their capital Kirjasalo ("capital" sounds grandiose but it was just a village) so it it easy to complete the postmark collection. They have issued a total of 14 stamps in 2 series. They are fair amount of forgeries in the market but fortunately you can find several websites that tells you how to recognize them.

Kirjasalo 4 December 1920 (now non-existent, former location in Russian Federation)
The Republic ceased to exist on 5 December 1920, a day after this postmark date!

Postmark year not clear, the stamp is from the 1919 seiries.
